LINEWORKER INTERN
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Attention!!

Are you a Junior in High School?

Are you interested in working outdoors in a rewarding and challenging career?

Do you want to be associated with a legacy of competent, hard working individuals who take great pride in their work?

Have you ever considered being an electrical lineworker?

If so, United Electric Co-op, Inc. has an opportunity for you.

A qualified candidate would spend his or her summer vacation after their Junior year working as an intern for United Electric. He/She would be trained as a linemans helper to familiarize himself with the trade of a Journeyman Line Worker.

If his/her performance passes the expected criteria, the candidate would then return and work the summer after their Senior year.

If the candidate continued to pass the expected criteria, they would be awarded a scholarship to assist payment of their tuition to a program that will help them in a career in power distribution.

Applications are available online or at the office located at 1330 21st St, Heyburn.
